journeyPod recently had a lovely dinner with the Executive General Manager of Katana, and got an inside scoop on the food and the celebs that make Katana the hotspot. On a Tuesday night at 6:45pm the place was packed with over 310 reservations. We sampled everything from Tamanohikari Sake, to tuna carpaccio in a soy truffle sauce with argula, avocado and black pepper, to chilean sea bass skewers, and our favorite--by far-- was the spicy salmon over cripy rice cakes.
